Gotta drink every drop
Yes, “parents”.
My listening age was 82, but my top songs were mostly Saja Boys… It was then that I remembered my account is linked to the Nest.
What can I say? The music is good and catchy as fuck. Incredible vocals, great production, great lyricism. Nothing to be embarrassed about
it might have just been me, but when i streamed the movie it looked about 20fps instead of the standard !<24. gave it a neat, stylized pseudo stopmotion look, but after half an hour of watching (and a few years in a stopmotion studio) i got rather tired of it.
The movie itself was fine, I wasn’t blown away by it. Idk about your animation issues, but I thought the animation was fun as heck. For a movie experience I’d probably give it like 6.5-7/10. Again, a fine movie… nothing really groundbreaking in terms of story telling and writing. The magic is all in the music and the characters, I think. Which cuts to the core of KPop fandom, I think.
Nothing but the truth now
What’s a Spotify?
Is it like jellyfin?
No, more like Navidrome. Jellyfin is more like Nexflix+, I think.
I think it’s something like an iPod, but you have to constantly keep paying to use it.
I still don’t get how to use Jellyfin
in what way?
you install it and start it, then add some libraries to it, make sure use use the right layout
- https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies
- https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/music
- https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/shows
then you can watch tv show or moves and listen to music, without a monthly sub
That’s how to use the player. I’m more about where to find the media.
Oh, I have a vast collection from cd when cd was the only way to get music.
That might be the best way to start, get some CDs and rip them
Does it work better for music than Plex?
Only catch is you need to use a 3rd party client to listen to higher fidelity tracks, the default app/web interface compresses everything to mp3 IIRC. Not a big deal though, there’s plenty of high quality clients around.
I think plex went down the shitter. But i ditched it before so i don’t know.
I dont know, never used plex.
I don’t fuck with Spotify due to their ice ads but yes it’s mostly kpop and hamilton
On account of Dan Ek’s bullshit, have cancelled Spotify this year in favour of Qobuz, and am much happier all round.
Last year’s ‘wrapped’ was just AI generated slop. After a year of listening to metal and electronica, got a top five of stuff that I’m not sure I’d listened to at all. Who would have thought the great plagiarism machine, trained to produce the most average output from any given input, would not do well on input that diverges from the mean?
I’d probably have preferred a completely random K-Pop selection; might have been an interesting listen, try out something new.
“Daddy daddy! Up up up song pweez!” Multiple times a day
Yes… it’s my CHILDREN’S fault.
What children?
… Rats, mostly
also the bats
I watch it yesterday with my daughter. I actually loved it.
Now it’s stuck on my playlist betweew “best of 2000s nightcore”, “Vivaldi the 4 seasons” and “DragonForce”.
Spotify bots struggle a bit to profile me.
I don’t even have children and if i didn’t ditch that asshole company, it would probably still show up.
Not even a parent (okay, a cat dad), and yes, this was most of my wrapped. 3 of 5 songs were KPDH.
Which one there’s like 8
Golden, obviously
Rumi’s not wearing her jacket, this is This Is What It Sounds Like
Oh goddamnit. I was listening to the radio with my partner while driving and heard a song that I thought was good, and it was this one. Does that mean I’m infected now?
Is this like the same deal as that year all my coworkers with young kids posted their preferred music service’s annual music analysis report and a whole bunch of them had Baby Shark and similar songs in the top 10?
Well the difference being this song is good
