Yeah, I wasn’t disagreeing. My point was that the norm was not getting an indictment on a grand jury was embarrassing and hurt someone’s career. This disincentivized prosecutors from repeatedly bringing a case to a Grand Jury. But Trump and his cronies don’t care, breaking the norm, and will keep pushing to get what they want.

Yeah, except that dealing with a legal defense costs a lot of time and money. So even if they can’t convict they can use the courts as a means to punish.
Really shows how much our legal system needs an overhaul to prevent abuse like this.

Use Google Collab or another web hosted platform. If you’re unfamiliar Google Collab is a part of Google docs that you can run Jupyter Notebooks on (and it’s free). This avoids the need for anyone to install anything and means you can test materials in the same environment everyone will run against.
Additionally, Jupyter notebooks makes it easy to add markdown, so instructions can be in stylized format and the students can run the cells over and over again to see how the output changes in real time.
Lastly, I would lean towards python, but there are many different languages supported in Google Collab and similar web hosted tools.

While I’m generally pro regulation, that’s not true. You can absolutely over regulate an industry or put out regulations that are bad.
For example NIMBY regulations that prevent multi-family units from being constructed or in NJ breweries can’t sell food (due to weird alcohol laws/regulations).
I’ve also argued if it’s that’s the case, then just pay for all Americans to be “pre-screened” and get rid of 80% of the TSA. That would have to save a huge amount of money.
But TSA is most likely a mixture of a jobs program and easy way to send people kickbacks.
