First book, Hyperion was mind blowing. Second one, Fall of Hyperion was very good. So i picked up the third one, Endymion. It was a slog but not awful, i didn’t hated it. Because of sunk cost fallacy i started the last one, The Fall of Endymion. It was pure shit, if i wasn’t listening the audio book i would bever have finished it. It was a test of patience.

Endymion was bad. And then came Rise of Endymion which made Endymion feel like masterpiece.

You can make mental gymnastics why it is so, but the fact is that ye old boomers grew up in a racist world and is expected from them to be racist. Le millennials had 50 years of efforts and sacrifices to make the world less racist.

I switched to mint 3 weeks ago at the gentle age of 48 and so far it’s excellent. I had several issues which i almost all solved with googling and some AI. And I don’t know anything about programing. AND IT DOESN’T PUSH ANYTHING ON ME, IT’S UNREAL.

Also they buy parts in huge quantities, it’s not the price you pay for single part, with packaging and all.
3 weeks with Mint after 25 years of windows. It’s good and it has solid support. Most things worked right away, some refused, like gaming peripherals and some games. Wine and Proton work most of the time. It has a learning curve bit it’s manageable.

Fuckin lunatics with money, power and agenda.

Those who want to use vr will buy, sometimes it’s not about destination but about the journey. And this can inspire someone to further improve on design and maybe makes it even more user friendly, cheap and with no strings to shitty corpos.

That’s Ill 2 Sturmovik.

Still good enough for driving and flying sims.

In bicycle repair terms it is called a slow leak.
The trick is believing it, than you have the upper moral ground for whatever you believe.
Teryfing, but not surprising.
Trumo still has 35% support.
