Any real lawyer isn’t going to lie for the DOJ and there was a reason that Trump was using bottom of the barrel lawyers to lose over a half a billion in lawsuits and 37 felonies.
The firms that have settled are shitheels but one thing to think about…these law firms won’t be able to do the work Trump wants to. They won’t break the law like Trump’s typical DollarGeneral lawyers. The moment they go to court they’ll be truthful and say, “we ain’t got shit” and be hosed.

Washington state foster parent here, they don’t take away children for “being poor”. They may have used that 20 years ago but neglect is litterly neglecting the child’s needs to survive. If DCYF get an case to investigate a child’s situation and find that they have financial issues to meet basic needs they will bend over backwards to get the family all sorts of support be it medical, housing, food assistance , etc. When a kid is taken away for neglect it’s because the parents leave their newborn at home for 10 hours while they go to the casino or some other fucked up shit. Least that’s how it is in Washington state.

Sales tax suck here in Washington, we’ll and so does property taxes. I’m paying $9k property tax for a house that I bought in 2020 for $605k that’s now valued at $850k. I went from $3k to $9k in property tax in 5 years. I’d willing do a mix tax because we have a fuckton of million and billionaires and 10.6% sales tax on everything fucking sucks.
