The anti-ai crowd have been on the hallucinating ai when it isn’t there stage for a while. I think being deeply anti-ai is just as much of a brainworm disease as being deeply pro-ai.
I don’t even remember the context anymore. I have seen it being used for Peter & Lois Griffin memes I think? It just has been around a while and definitely before AI image generation.

It definitely is, I’ve seen other ai crap with similarly cartoonishly fat people like this. Plus there’s some extra weird blob between the two that doesn’t make sense.
I’m sure there have been previous versions of this same meme, there’s also a lot of things that get recreated with ai for no real reason other than to just make something else with ai.
Also the image is very clearly made by mirroring a single image in the center. So at most the original image was AI generated because AI would not mirror that cleanly.
I am begging you people to just learn some basic ass photoshop skills to make your garbage memes.
