Microsoft has reportedly shared the names of Dutch civil servants working for two regulatory agencies with the U.S. House of Representatives. The agencies involved include the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) and the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP), according to an article published on Friday by Vrij Nederland.

The German state of Schleswig Holstein has been moving for 2 years, much faster than the Netherlands. Maybe being technology retarded helped them, I dunno.
That’s also one state compared to a country. Even if the size is similar, there’s probably a lot more stuff that needs to be moved on a national level.
This is always the excuse, isn’t it? “No we can’t have that here, it’s completely different”. “No, we can’t have free healthcare here. It’d never work”. “No, we can’t be secure here, that’s not our culture”.
It’s not an excuse to not do it but an excuse for why it could take longer.
