And also shows how. Our current stance is not staying in the sideline. Bulgaria and the UK at least have allowed US refueling in their territories. This increases the risks to Europe. Spain has done the right thing: no cooperation with illegal wars. None. If the Americans want to keep at it, let them figure it out.
Technically Spain is sanctioning Iran and not the US too. Refueling US aircraft in the EU has likewise been something that happened before the war and will do so after. It is after all in Europes best interest that US aircraft and weapons are used against Iran and not against Greenland.
