I can say “I believe russia is just trying to reunify lost confused russians” until im blue in the face and point to the world’s various nations supporting russia’s efforts and say “look at all these nations that agree with russia” too. But if I go and buy a 4 billion dollar defense system from russia, regardless of what I publicly claim to believe, I am actually helping to support a war of territorial expansion.
