a simple brick makes a tesla look infinitely better
I think that person is an asshole for stopping on the crosswalk, but I have no authority to do anything about it and move on.
It’s PARKED. Not stopped. Don’t be a simp.
Are you stupid or are you unable to interpret meaning that doesn’t use the words you would have chosen? Oh, do I stop my car in a parking lot or do I park my car? Wtf.
I was in a cranky mood when I left that. Thanks for the thrill.
I don’t like your honesty
I appreciate you.
I will think to myself “fucking swastikar” and move on.
I’d probably not even notice. But I live in Italy and I’ve seen some shit.
I got similar situation in a cul-de-sac around my area. There is a sidewalk going through and people like to park their car right in the middle of it.
I just do small stuff like bending out rear wiper or bending front passenger’s external mirror. People do be getting the memo.
One thing that has always sent me into an absolute rational rage is cunts in cars blocking sidewalks and pedestrian passageways.
and now that I have family in wheelchairs and on walkers, that rational rage has become about 30x more intense, to the point that I have to physically stop myself from bricking their windshields.
Ceramic spark plug pieces work very well at shattering tempered glass and are a lot more mobile and concealable than bricks.
I sometimes get touchy touchy with the mirrors so they have to lose time readjusting them.
You mean replacing them, right?
Right? [Amigdala with supercharged chas]
I hope it is just a delivery guy who thinks “This’ll take a sec.”
Hit it with a sticker saying: sh*tty parked’ dude ! And yes I bought before I…
Walk directly across the hood.
Unironically this. You either walk right over it or take a seat on the hood.
So close…
seatshit.FYFY
Only do this when the driver is there. If not call the cops.
It’s a tough one honestly, because you never know if its someone that’s generally a considerate person but had to park for an emergency… Or if it’s just a general asshole on a standard day.
Judging by the car make and model though (all black Tesla), I’d lean towards the latter.

If hazards are on, I’d give the benefit of doubt, otherwise, probably not.
Well, I would imagine someone in emergency would at very least leave emergency lights on. I’m assuming OP wouldn’t time the picture so they don’t show up.
If I don’t know (sometimes you figure out it’s a nurse for example) I move open the wipers as a little sign.
Mild annoyance and then continue with my day. If I’m really annoyed report it to whoever issues the parking fines in the area.
My city has a sick app for reporting these sorts of things! Just snap a photo and it tags the location and uses OCR to get the license plate number.
Nothing, officer. I didn’t see who keyed the car.
would be annoying for the tesla owner if whoever bumped into the car had no identifying features or clothes, so the car cameras can’t be used to identify the person
Instructions are clear. Butt naked bumping the car repeatedly on the crosswalk.
Teslas have proximity cameras just so you know better to throw something at it from a distance or better from above

Possibly committing felony vandalism for a parking violation. Does not seem reasonable.
Felony vandalism?
In a country without felonies as well.
Neither does giving your money to buy a car that owns you and your data, supporting a sociopath psycho rapist.
And, you can’t fight something unreasonable with reason. You fight it with whatever uses the least energy, because douchebags are not worthwhile to fight fairly or morally.
I won’t be held to high moral standards while fighting another guy with no standards at all.
What is up with the down votes? Lemmy is being very polarizing lately. Bots perhaps? It seems fishy
I exhale sharply through my nose, go around and forget about it 15 seconds later.
The most honest answer. But honestly, we need to learn to do things about it.
And this thread is filled to the brim with wrong answers about what those “things” are
Indeed. I like that someone actually brought up invoking local road authority. It’s unfortunate that many places don’t have a decent mechanism for that, and we need it badly.
I would consider walking over it, figure out it’s not worth triggering the alarm and making a scene, then ultimately ignore it
I called parking enforcement on this one. Right in front of the job site drive. We don’t come here everyday, but when we do, it’d be nice to be able to pull in. They called me when they got to the car and asked if I wanted it toed. I said that they do it all the time but just give a warning, because it’s the first time I’ve called. Next time, it’s gone.

Nicer than I would have been. I would have told them hell yeah, please tow it. I don’t think people should get a “freebie” for something this egregious.
The front and rear wheels are different.
Nah. Everything in the background is perfect, including the sign and pile of wood debris.
Not AI, if that’s what you were implying.
My reaction would be How did i get to another country?
Looks like it’s probably Portugal. Apparently that gold stripe on the license plate was a thing up until 2020.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_Portugal
It is 100% Portugal.
