Who’s going to tell them that far-right has a huge weight in many countries, sometimes even in leadership position or a serious contender for the next election ?

While we have a better social coverage than the US, we not doing much better in term of skewing to the right

I’d argue they’re doing much better in Europe - case in point, Germany just declared their far right as extremists. And the parliamentary system is harder to hack like Trumpism did.

That being said - the honest parties do need to realize people are tending to the far right for real reasons that need to be addressed.

In the Netherlands a party whose one member (Wilders) has spurred on some of his followers to chant ‘less, less, less!’ on the question ‘Do you want more, or less Moroccans?’ (PVV) is now the largest party in government. The Second Chamber (parliament) has also voted their chairman to be from his party, which means a PVVer was present at yesterday’s World War 2 Dead Remembrance to lay a wreath on behalf of the Chamber.

Forgive me for not thinking we’re doing much better.
