I swear there’s so many random things I’m typing into YouTube day by day and the first few results are fake channels that use AI. They don’t even have subs and they’re not even relevant to what I’m typing in sometimes.
YouTube is clearly potentially putting them on the top of the search results. If this wasn’t bad enough, YouTube’s stupid layout only shows you about four to five videos of something you actually typed in, then it instantly starts showing you stuff you don’t care about, talking about other people watched. I don’t want to see what other people watch. I want to see what I just typed in.
Don’t use youtube’s search. There are other alternatives out there
Looks like this is just another bot / AI acct. Guess I’ll report it after yesterday’s mess. I really hope this doesn’t turn in to a constant problem, going forward…
Anyway, as long as we’re here, how do you like to search YT? A year or two ago I was surprised to learn that I could search Google videos and find stuff on YT that didn’t actually appear in YT searches. Some real irony, there.
