I get that; flying is made to be such a pain now. When I flew ANA, Japan Airlines, or the Redeye; it was nice. Any US flights were torture. Being 6ft tall with back problems, it makes sleeping in cargo feel like a 5 star hotel.
I have and I’ll take it, please give me some of your cold weather. There’s only so much you can do when it becomes 110 outside. The AC is on permanently to keep it at 85.
Remember buying a “yellow pages style” book of what websites you could go to and half of them didn’t work? lol
Just wait until it turns into pills and you’re still fucked and now worse off. Your brain chemistry might change permanently.
Hard pass.

Yeah I can imagine the rest of business class pays for the flight and economy is just a cherry on top. I mean they keep making the seats smaller to can in more fish. Some older planes you can tell they were fitted with the modern small seats. Paid for the window view? Enjoy your wall view. Then overbooking. And the kicker, your luggage requirements keep shrinking, so they can ship things.

Oh yeah, you could actually watch a movie on TV around then. Now all I think is STFU whenever I an advertisement for anything comes up. Adding in all the websites that are like sign up! make an account! pay us please, turn off your adblocker (on my phone I use a neutral DNS lol.)

You know, I never read it so I can’t say. It looks like it would be a good read. Personally, I research the engines and transmissions as well as what advanced features cars have. I would rather have a car with a cool suspension and a limit slip differential like my Infiniti (Nissan) than all the electronic bells and whistles modern cars have. I used to have a Volvo, I crashed it twice because I was fighting against all of the “safety” features… I’m not sure why they would put in a system to brake one caliper, but then again this was when Ford bought the company. It was fun to momentum drift in the rain even though it was FWD.

So like four people in Business class cover it…

This is biergarten ready. The shirt is optional.

How much I’ve started to hate technology. It’s like I had smart phones before my peers had flip phones. Same with computers; let me go to the computer graveyard room and put one together for myself. My family was very into tech so I had a computer since I was 5.
I think at this point I’m just not into it. Same with cars; I like my almost thirty year old cars.
lmao you beat me to it. I used to do that to so many people. Hey have you heard of this new political party? Check it out!

This just means that no one watches TV news anymore. I have free cable, long story, and I still don’t watch it.

The most effective is if say “essential” workers got “sick” and didn’t come into work. Imagine if the railway workers all got "sick"again. And truck drivers got “sick” from eating jalapenos, which is pretty pretty possible. And an entire school of teachers got “sick” so parents had to skip out on work. All these people would skip a day of having to buy petrol. It’s risky but the chaos.
I think not buy stuff as much as possible would add to it. So with people staying home even for a day would have a ripple effect.
I mean I’m not OP but I have cut down on spending. Started more car pooling. Quit my high skill job, sorry local businesses one less person that repairs pretty much everything when there’s a massive tech shortage here. Started going to college just to find something else to do. Once my health gets a bit better, thank you Taylor Farms, I’ll get a job within walking distance while I keep going to college. I’ve cut down to almost never going out to eat, only when a friend from overseas visits since it’s easier. Restaurants and fast food place are closing left and right here, in very populated area.
Yep. Now when the fuel light turns on. Tears
It’s getting phased out, I guess it’s only an old people thing nowadays. And well then you have eating live squid in Korea; that’s a hell no for me.

I’m not sure, I’m not religious aside from Buddhist thoughts. It seems like a lot of people love domesticated animals, but food is where I can see a difference. I don’t think that there’s not too much of a religious division by many means when it comes to animals we consume.
Take for example, a lot of people look at deer as oh adorable Bambi. I see great, I have to scrape you off my steel bumper, shoot you in the head to put you out of your misery, and then venison is on the menu for the month since it would be a shame to disrespect the animals death.
The vegan thread I wrote in really didn’t like that I wrote that if hunting, shooting deer in where there spine and skull connects is the most humane way as opposed to a heart/lung shot and having the animal run in fear in it’s last moments. Same goes for cattle, kosher and halal aren’t very humane compared to using an air gun to sever the brain and skull and seize all function. There is a difference in the taste of the meat.
Same goes with fish and shellfish. Fish for sushi is basically killed with a spike destroying the brain and that’s why it tastes different than the fish for grilling. Same goes for lobster, you can put it to sleep or do the same.
The first line is a form of self therapy. I really like the Blade Runner line “like tears in the rain” because it brings understanding of insignificance. My thought is llms are starting to show their insignificance to benefit society; not that they can’t beneficial for certain task but overall. It’s just an opinion.
I sit. Don’t want to potentially have to clean up the floor.
