I still can’t stop but think how stretched out the Hobbit films were, for an otherwise short book. That’s a sin that stains forever with me. The Lord of the Rings films, do have their own flaws, but they’re fairly contained and can be debated as to whether they were good or not. I have so much trouble excusing anything with the Hobbit though.

And I hope we never, ever see anyone tackle The Silmarillion. Simply because, there will be so much improvised fluff in that would-be film, that it’d make the Hobbit films blush.

Battlestar Galactica, and any other time the writers are just writing down the rabbit hole without having any clue what story they’re going to tell. The writers of Battlestar introduced one mystery after another and worked to sell the audience on the belief that they were going somewhere good with all this. They had jack shit and I’m not getting that time back.

    Some other offenders:

Star Wars sequels: how the fuck did that get greenlit for like a billion dollars without any living soul knowing what the plot was gonna be

Mulholland Drive: fuck you David Lynch, explain this shit or GTFO. If I want dream logic I’ll go to sleep

Lost: J J Abrams you spoiled little rich kid fuckass

    Times that didn’t happen:

Andor: just an adamantine brick shithouse of storytelling
