Rich people seem to have kind of obsession about the ai. It MUST be stuffed into every single thing for some reason, no matter if its detrimental or not. I wonder if its because if the ai thing fails, it means trillions might evaporate.
You just cant rely on algorithms to show you anything good, they might but dont expect them to. You have to search for content yourself and also try blocking the shitcontent so you might find anything decent more easy. In a way, internet is kind of like post apocalypse wasteland now. You might find something, or even communities that have a lot of stuff, but a lot of it is just crap.
Maybe try archiving some of the things you like best in case it disappears one day. Also try connecting with other people and communities you find that are nice, we have only eachother against the corporations that just want to show us brainrot content.

big part of the ones with almost no reviews are such garbage its insulting to even call them games. But i bet there are some gems buried in there too.
maybe if there was somekind of trust based verification, kind of like how certifications work. You are issued a “certification” that you are decent enough and you can issue further ones and if you mess up too badly, yours might get revoked. It would probably be a terrible hassle though. Maybe it might work as supplementary verification system though.

i wonder if the government is worsening the unemployment problem on purpose, so they can dismantle welfare systems and replace them with privately ran systems. At least they have made re-educating harder for adults and I dont think unemployement office is getting nearly enough funding as it should. They also made it harder for employers to even get job applications by forcing people to spam them. Though I dont think there is any grand conspiracy to worsen unemployment, there is no need when you can just handle the problem badly instead, as doing bad job doesnt have any consequences. People will vote the same anyway after couple of years.

So maybe also anything that actively exploits humans in some way for monetary gains (ai exploits and harms creators, fastfood and drugs exploit and harm body, tiktok trash exploits and harms mind, temu trash exploits western economy and harms environment).

Ragnarök is quite cool, first there is huge battle between giants, gods and mortals. Then at the end when mostly all noteworthy characters are dead, surtur burns the whole mess down and sun turns black, stars fall and everything falls into boiling sea. to me AAA is mark of lesser quality. Maybe it looks pretty, but so do those hamburgers on adverts.

i just dont understand hiring requirements. They make posts that require you to be able to do anything and everything, expect everyone still to apply and hire people that barely are able to do the job and can’t handle learning anything new, likely not even due to some inherent weakness in the head but just attitude. And I bet every one of them praises their skills on learning new stuff on the interview. And then they show the door to anyone who dares not to be really good at lying through their teeth at the interview.
10 had at least SOME good in it, at first i didnt want to move on from 7 but when i finally did it was okay. Everything i have heard about 11 is awful, and i wasnt very pleased with it myself either when i tried it at work, though i was able to mostly ignore it since it was just my work pc.
And now after switching to mint, idea of using 11 is preposterous.
well, ultimately too many lawmakers, elected or not are “let them eat cake” people. Living in their own world, uncaring and unknowing about things they rule over. Too many are likely there for their own hubris, thinking how they are so excellent that they must deserve to be there and maybe to line their own pockets. Though obviously there are some that are genuinely competent, otherwise the whole thing would come crashing down too fast, but they are most likely quite suppressed in favor of the pieces of shit that care only about their own interests.
They COULD have consulted people who know about this, considered extensively if its good idea to do this or not and maybe even explain themselves why its necessary without resorting to propaganda and lies, such as how this is to “save the children”. But they do not, because they dont care and they dont have to care.
How is it narrow minded to wish for balance that is good both ways?
