I am not sure of the detail but it is alternative to http. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gemini_(protocol)

• Writefreely is the established option.
• Wordpress has activitypub plugin.
• Mastodon (or the like) is probably good enough.
• Wafrn is tumblr like blogging.
• Openwrite is the new kid in the block similiar to Writefreely.
