Kiwi Co had stuff started at baby toys so I really recommend you check their site. The DM in me also thinks the toy looks badass but my kids are edging at teens now so I have a bad idea of how long little ones take at things.
This is the first of this style I’ve seen that wasn’t the Magical Cauldron style which is pretty simple. I would suspect that this is also much simpler than it appears. Personally, even at 7-8yo kids would have been done with the chest in less than an hour and it would be more plastic stuff in their room.
I highly recommend looking at Kiwi Co projects instead. They have a huge variety for every age and interest.
I threatened to run this as a booth at a gaming convention once. Set up 6-12 basic challenges and then print certificates with your “real life stats block”
3·9 days agoThe people who made “If the 40k Emperor had a Text-to-speech” had to give it up for copyright/trademark reasons so they moved to making World Of Darkness (Vampire the Masquerade, Hunter the Reckoning, etc.) content. Their “Hunter: The Parenting” has been hysterical so far but personally the “Norfolk Wizard Game” has me pausing to cackle like a madwoman. I have played and GMed for WoD over the years and it’s just pure gold. I especially liked the episode “1 hour of Hermetic Propaganda to Fall Asleep To”
It’s a great alternative if your rental has a gas oven and you are rightfully concerned about the indoor air pollution caused by the burning of natural gas. We can’t change the installed range so we use an air-fryer/ toaster oven on one counter and an electric induction burner on the other. We got a wooded range cover and use it as counter space for food prep.
Biden administration was working on making that unsubscribe bullshit illegal last year. But then Trump so those tactics will probably be mandatory pretty soon…
12·19 days agoI started reporting every obvious AI image as Spam- Offensive a few weeks ago. I got more of it for a day o so and then substantially less. You generally have to be really firm with the Pinterest algorithm about showing the same content repetitively. Not just ads, any content.
I don’t love Pinterest but it’s the least stress visual feed I’ve used.
Why would it be the policy everywhere? School choice rules that like are usually only in small areas like the Delaware. Usually they indicate that there isn’t a large difference in the quality of the schools between the areas. If you tried this in an area that had a urban-rural divide like Pennsylvania or New York, the flow of students into the suburban schools would be very difficult to handle.

It’s because your friend spends more 10 minutes listening to you, sees you more often than twice a year, and is truly paying attention to your well being.
If Doctors had time to chat and get to know you, they might gain more trust. Even in countries with funded medical systems, the amount of time a health care provider spends getting to know you personally is way down.
Why would I believe a guy who spent 10 minutes with me barely listening over my buddy who I talk to every day? I’m not saying this is a good thing, but we know what builds trust and it’s not what you get in a healthcare setting.
Homeopathic practices (🤮) have great patient reviews not because they are providing better care, but because their standard appointment length is 45-90 minutes and the patient feels heard and understood in that time.
4·27 days agoNono, I remember this from JPII’s death. They yell his birth name 3 times into his room and then they use the hammer to smash his ring and seals. Dude was in a coma for a just long enough for us to hope for a Undead Pope -> Emperor on the Golden Throne situation.
