Well the alternative is PC gaming, and building a competitive PC aint cheap. I remember on launch people were building computers with similar performance to the xbone/ps4. But now that entry level dGPUs aren’t a thing, and even mid range GPUs are expensive you get fucked either way.

The PS5 is at least powerful on launch. The 4 was on par with like a regular APU.

You just need to go for non small form factor machines. Anything with half height pcie cards is going to have like 1 3.5” bay max.

That said they rarely have much 3.5” space anyways so building is typically better. You can usually find a CPU mobo ram combo for cheap online. Then just pick a case and power supply and you’re good to go.

Hard to tell from that photo, but from this eBay screenshot it appears to be a laptop hard drive slot so no. You could get a 2.5” drive in there though.

Did you talk to a lot of people in school? Have you stayed in touch with them? Nepotism and cronyism are your best bets for finding a good job. Why take a risk hiring someone they don’t know anything about. Vs someone who already is working there is vouching for.

If you didn’t talk to anyone you could try a recruiter I guess. They usually have connections, but they’re by no means perfect.

TBH I’m kinda surprised the game doesn’t run maxed out without problems. I know the IGPU wasn’t the greatest back then, but it wasn’t that bad.

My current laptop has a 96 eu iris Xe IGPU and it runs a LOT of games very well.

Let’s be honest. You could make the simplest most intuitive UI and people still won’t spend the 30 seconds to read.

I already have a bunch of those, but I want more than just a monitor. I’d like to connect it to my dock and have both of my 4k displays connected and running at the full 60hz.

Also the ability to add an eGPU would be killer. Great portable gaming experience, and a “real” at home gaming experience with the eGPU.

That too, but I don’t expect that to be a problem after it’s been out for more than a few weeks.

Currently it’s based off of Arch right? Are there many compatibility issues with its current form?

I use mine as my daily use “laptop” since my other laptop died, and was less powerful any way.

I just wish it had better IO. Either 2 USB C ports, or even better USB 4 and I’d own one by now.

A good UI/UX is what Linux needs most to get people to switch. Valve has the money to pour into actually making something people want to use. Now I just hope the desktop release gets the same polish.
