I went on reddit yesterday just for a minute. Saw a post about some guy asking what he could do with a small hallway like space in his house (imagine a small walk in closet without the door). Almost every response I opened up was an AI generated image. That thread alone probably wasted a small swimming pool of water just cause some people couldn’t be arsed to copy and paste a server rack.

How would tor do that? As far as I understand the fingerprint is an aggregate of multiple very specific variables ie https://amiunique.org/fingerprint. Sure tor might set some (or a lot) to a default but some are very difficult to circumvent such as the rendering of specific shapes and text.
When someone stopped me to ask if they could ask something, I used to say yes because I always thought, maybe they need directions or something. After moving to the city I quickly learned to stop doing that and to either ignore people or to give an excuse and keep on walking. It has happened exactly one time that someone actually needed my help getting somewhere - every other time they just ask for money.

The political part of my feed is pretty much hard left wing - but when I open the comments the top responders are the most right wing PoS’s I’ve ever seen. Which is so stupid because they’ll have max 200 thumbs up while a rational left wing respons will ratio them out of the water
It really sucks that they were bought out by Google because for some reason waze’s navigation is 1000x better than gmaps, even tho they’re apparently from the same parent company
