As a main communitymember on a site with chats used by a huge amount of kids, I have seen how the internet makes it very easy, compared to oldentimes, for pedos to be in areas high in children. One of the kids there often complains about pedos and asked me to help remove them. So, with kids being a defenseless flock of animals, there ARE kids who then take a Defender role and they become the ouster of pedos. Also noteworthy is, right before I emailed an official pedocatching organization, the kid I was helping got in a confrontation and spilled the antipedo plans; which alerted the pedos and spoiled the plan. So the issue with kids doing high stakes things is they are mentally still children.

overall, pedos in kid areas, thanks to the internet, feels, to me, also on the rise. And those areas SHOULD have the pedos removed in an organized acceptable fashion; and that that doesn’t happen causes some Defender kids to think they need to do it themselves.

imo get better real official pedo prevention measures up in kid spaces to reduce vigilantiism.

Conclusion: Yes they have done maybe as many as 3 somewhat minor things that were not atrocious.

thats from an old unused distrokid account. i hid songtitles cuz they are noob songs. Too bad phone has no easy way to just censor the middle column so i can show the entire thing. 1 cent per stream is good. for as bad as google is, Youtube red and youtube are among the best for amount paid. A bunch of services in china, india, africa etc its like 1000 plays for a cent. spotify is also on the cheap side and takes 5 or 6 streams for a cent. There is also often huge variation within the same service. A youtube ad may be 1 cent for a song and then 0.1 cents for the same song. country may play a role.

anyway, havent done it in forever but about to get back in.

i forget what tidal is like and that artist account didnt have anything catch on tidal (nor anywhere else. was probably my least effective artist account ever).

makes sense. So it is partly BECAUSE the people are accused of gang and hezbolah affiliation that it is extra controversial instead of being less controversial; with the reason being lack of evidence and fair trial, and that that shouldnt even start to be ok

Why are all these big deportation stories about hezbolah people and gang members that we are supposed to be sympathizing with and vocally defending?

The AntiDeportation stories I would like to support are like ‘nice mom that is just nice and not part of any gang nor anything illegal deported horribly from her 5 nice kids’. Give us those stories please. I am totally happy not having gang member neighbors. Why would I want that or sympathize with them?

the mom that worked in the big illegal weed op is the closest so far. I am totally for weed and in a place it’s legal, but I understand that, if she makes money on the smuggling of weed from legal to illegal places, it will be bad for her when she’s caught. That was not controversial to me. It shouldnt be that way, but it wasnt unusually controversial.

what? Capitulating just like that? Reading these comments I was expecting a much longer, more intense fight. You could at least ACT like a ‘rightwing nutjob’ instead of immediately just ‘be a likeable person’.

Forgive my ignorance. Please explain. What I remember from reading about this elsewhere yesterday:

it looks like 5 men with tattoos were mistakenly identified as gang members, and started a suit. Sounds good, if they were falsely accused they should be exempt and compensated.

Then the judge makes it a case against all deportation of all people from america; which this article barely mentions in one sentence.

So my questions are

• whenever i hear about gang members they seem like badguys. Is sending venezuelan gang members from america to venezuela actually bad? Why?

• is switching the case from the faulty identification of a few to a fight on behalf of all people being deported a strategically sound decision? It feels like now the case has a larger possibility of failing for the 5 misidentified nongangmembers if their case was good and they are truly nongangmembers. Wouldn’t it make more sense to fight All Deportations as it’s own giant case rather than evolve this one about the 5 misidentified people?

Independently of who I side with, I am blocking this community because of the stifling of Realitaetsverlust’s comments.

it all makes sense now. It is a Socialist Communist instance that censors those not aligned with them. Political leanings don’t bother me, but the censorship does so I will be avoiding anything Lemmy.ml in the future. They of course have a right to run their instance how they wish. peace out
