I can’t speak for the countries you mention, but I can give you an insight for The Netherlands.

First of, there is a big demand for English teachers in highschool (students aged around 12 to 18).

But. To become a teacher you need a university degree. Either a bachalors degree or a masters degree (masters unlocking the later ages/classes). Also note that being a teacher is a tough job. Budget cuts have put a lot of strain on the sector, and the teachers do feel that. A lot of people burn out. However, the pay is decent, so if you love the job, you can thrive.

I mention all this, because I suspect that it is similar in other European countries. Hence, to get a good job will require proper preparation and some dedication. Maybe studying abroad in the country you want to move to first.

Seeing the overwhelming amount of acceptance in the other comments is amazing. But I do need to play advocate of the devil for a second here, and mention moderation.

But if the existing moderators do not speak the language of the content, then they cannot effectively moderate. This makes it a massive risk to allow non-english content on your instance with only English speaking moderators. Hence, I would only recommend posting such concent to instances that are natively speaking the language. For example, German and Dutch content almost exclusively exists on German and Dutch instances respectively.

As a European, this sounds like a rude and slightly exaggerated way of asking a normal question. A bad way to start, but probably not something that will get you kicked out of an interview in 30 seconds.

I would say the Soviet Union and the Dutch VOC were both bad for the same core reason: they were an ideological extreme. Capitalism is only a good system, if it is localized and regulated. Otherwise a small group of people will come out on top and exploit everyone else. But the same holds for communism, as clearly seen in any nation attempting communism, you inevitably get a dictator who will exploit the people for his or her own good. The difference is that when you weaken communism by implementing only parts of it, like universal healthcare, or unemployment benefits, then we call it socialism.

This already exists if you know what to look for, and are willing to dive into a technical solution.

The bleep tone is usually a 1kHz sine wave (according to wikipedia). We can simply create a band pass filter that removes all 1kHz tones from the audio output of windows.

This does have side effects. Most notably that human speach, especially some female voices, are around this 1kHz frequency too. Since the tone was designed to mask voices, this makes sense. So I’m not sure if the side effects are worth it, but you can certainly try.

Never tried it before myself, but the description matches exactly what you would need. You will want a PEQ filter with a high Q and significant negative gain around the 1000Hz frequency. I’m not an audio engineer, so I have no idea what values would work well. But if you want to play with those: a higher Q creates a narrower band around the 1000 to filter out.

The flipside of this coin, is that a lot of people want to feel desired. Having someone who active craves you, can satisfy that desire.

I call this effect borrowing energy from the future.

I used to drink around 3 big mugs of coffee a day. Then I just stopped, cold turkey. Took a few months to get adjusted. But what surprised me, is that ALL tolerance to caffeine is gone. If I drink a cup of black tea, I will feel more focussed for a few hours, and less focussed a day or two afterwards.

I now only drink caffeine strategically. If I think todays problems are more important than the next two days problems, I drink some black tea or a cup of coffee. Otherwise I stick to decaf coffee, which fills the habit of drinking coffee perfectly.

Hungary has a very low income tax. Hence the high VAT. Denmark has both high VAT and income tax.

Before Microsoft demanded TPM 2.0, you could install the latest version of Windows on extremely old hardware. Easily reaching that 15 years. We had this already. And Windows 11 can easily run without TPM 2.0. Microsoft just has business reasons to demand it. So I don’t see how innovation is slowed down by this.
