wanna know something funny? I emulate totk on my steam deck. I stopped playing it on original switch because the load times on steam deck are speedy compared to on original switch.

I’m sure Totk runs fine on switch 2 if you pay 25 bucks for extra frames on a game you already paid 70 dollars for. but i don’t want to buy a console just for that.

but I do wish there was a future where nintendo would allow it on different platforms.

I just go into all games with no expectations or influences. its a much better way to game, imho.

rather than writing off AAA entirely. if I avoid reviews/ forum discussions etc and just play, then the labels kinda fall away. every game has a chance to be fun. regardless if it was made by 100 person dev team or 2.

spongy bosses don’t always mean they’re challenging. I can’t count how many times I’ve fought a boss who isn’t hard or interesting but just wastes time cause they have a ton of health.

considering lemmy is so spread out and there’s many apps for it, I think post formatting is down to user preference and choice.

I’d suggest swapping to a view that will at least show titles so you don’t make the mistake of clicking on something or seeing something that’s a spoiler for you.

my point is that its on the user, not the OP. especially given the game its from.

again, the game has been out for 5 years at this point. and in early access since 2018.
