Kinda, unfortunately.
It was great when it had its niche, and I still buy games there occasionally, but it has poorer integration with pretty much anything, Galaxy is bloated as hell, and it has explicitly no linux/deck support.

Sorry, I meant that most companies do fixes to comply with local legislations/sentences and then ignore them everywhere else, Pocketpair can’t do that because they are being sentenced in their home jurisdiction, so their infractions in other jurisdictions could and would still be brought to court.
Most companies do stuff like that but pocketpair is based in Japan so they can’t, they’d be held accountable.
Add one to the list. Really enjoyable, even fun to cheese, not very fond of the ending but otherwise stellar.

Yep. I played an earlier version but it’s the same game.
The key thing that made me notice was the scarecrow cards that allowed you to pick up your units, those make sense in Condottiere as it’s divided in rounds where you fight multiple battles, so it made sense to pick up your units if you had excess power and were winning anyway, save your strength for the next battle in the round, whereas it made a lot less sense in Gwent given its 1v1 nature and fixed amount of rounds.
Mind you Gwent evolved a lot afterwards, I don’t know much beyond the witcher 3 version, which I still enjoyed plenty.
Gwent is actually a slight hack of an existing board game called Condottiere, which is IMO the better game.
Oh, that’s actually nice to hear, makes me re-evaluate gog somewhat.
I don’t use heroic much but it’s never too late to start.
