This is cool! However, this comparison is unfair, as Getty-Dubay is the only one not using a variable thickness

I don’t see anything special on this screenshot. Most of the websites display this, at least when you have an European IP. This pop up is only exceptional in that it doesn’t lag on my phone, displays correctly and has a “Reject all” button

Why, actually?

It restores faith in humanity a little in me when I see “use your favorite search engine”

The Guardian had tracker-wall now (how is that legal‽) https://archive.is/70MC2
This is not Microsoft Excel. This app is just called Sheets and predates this phone. It was already on Psion Series 5 which run EPOC32, an OS which was later renamed to Symbian. This phone runs an early version of Symbian
Not every spreadsheet app is Microsoft Excel

Hopefully not

Left button for global shortcuts, right button for Compose

I’m using it for spell checking in Firefox — Menu, then ‘o’ mnemonic to add to the dictionary etc.

Well, I can’t afford even a small house in the foreseeable future and that trailer looks cozy, except for that TRUMP poster. Ngl, now I want that

I see now that a big reason for my behavior was that I actually wanted to be a girl. I’ve always been jealous that girls were usually the ones being picked up. I wanted to be complimented, I wanted to be cute and I imagined myself as girls I liked… However, I thought at the time that transfems always ended up as ugly beings who look neither feminine nor masculine. Well, now I know that not only beauty is highly subjective, but also there are also non-binary people. And that many trans people are virtually undistinguishable from cis people, but they receive the last media attention… guess why.
So yeah, I would try to tell myself in the most gentle way possible to research the topic

Main con of the ultrawide screens: everything installs/downloads slower

It’s a similar thing here, in Poland. Gas stations are basically expensive convenience stores and sometimes they are the only stores open, so it’s not surprising that they sell alcohol. I’m just talking about the subconscious feeling I have. There was a plan recently to ban selling alcohol at gas stations, but I think it didn’t go anywhere

I know that alcohol may be bought by passengers or to drink after done driving, yet seeing alcohol being sold at gas stations always feels so wrong
I appreciate including SI units
At least in my country, something like 1/3 job offers require working on .Net on Windows
