You’re just afraid she’ll like it too much. My partners pecs look great in a bra.
I mean, it’s not just herd mentality. I’m just not willing to lock myself out of relationships because of my principles. It’s not my fault my mum can’t be convinced to ditch Whatsapp for signal. Not willing to give up communication with her.
Herd mentality would be if you did a thing because others do it even if there wouldn’t be any loss from switching to a better thing. It’s more complex if you’d lose out a great deal from the switch.
Hate when my sims come to life
That’s the responsible way to enjoy it! But you can’t have any expectations that it’s a good idea beyond having fun with it. And I find that sometimes these posts about how to do the lottery in the smartest way possible kind of detract from the fact that it’s wrong and possibly harmful to think that it’s anything aside from a potentially fun thing to do.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t delude yourself into thinking you’re being smart about the lottery by thinking about which is the smarter course of action in case of a win. The only way to be smart about the lottery is to not play.
Hm, depends how ‘breaking down’ is defined. Because it usually doesn’t mean there’s no toxic substance left. Instead, plastic degradation often IS the formation of micro or nano plastics. In this case, it’s irrelevant how long this process takes without knowing how long it takes until there’s no toxicity left.
Also, if something is described as ‘biodegradable’, I wouldn’t blame a consumer for composting it. And if it actually poisons the compost, that’s net harm. So, it’d be actively harmful green washing.
To be fair, it’s best to not participate in the lottery.
Yesss, pet peeve of mine too! I have D or E cups, and they’re pretty small, medium at best. Theyre pretty much exactly a hand full. A thick jumper almost completely hides them. Cup size without knowing the band size means jack.
Why not just drink it black then? To be fair, creamer isn’t a thing where I’m from.
One time my French teacher came into the statistics crash course I was teaching. The uno reverse of learning.
They tried to figure out which one of my sensory issues is tied to which one of my traumata. I’m autistic.
What’d help them most would be adjusting who they’re interested in. It’s easiest to click with someone of a similar age group with a similar amount of relationship experience. Neurodivs also tend to click best with other neurodivs. It’s easiest to meet through a shared hobby or interest- partner and I are both neurodiv and met by nerding out over our respective research projects, at a semi quiet bday event.
There’s certainly many cases like this. But I wouldn’t be dismissive like that- some are ONLY ignorant. I’ve changed someone’s mind before. They hadn’t had access to all that much formal education and it was just the standard way of thinking in their village. The hadnt heard it explained like I did before.
Oh yeah, that’s what it is in origin. But not for every idiot who falls for it. Some genuinely take it at face value and don’t apply the same anti-bodily-autonomy logic to anything else, and that’s what I find confusing.
That’s so fascinating!
Yep, nobody can be forced to use their body for anything, including the survival of a foetus, embryo, or even fully developed human. It’s so weird how most people would agree that nobody should be forced to even donate blood to save a life, but if it’s a uterus, it’s somehow controversial.
Wait is that possible? I’d donate my uterus in a heart beat. But I thought since organ transplants are a big deal and you have to be on immuno suppressants for life if you have one, among other issues, the receiver wouldn’t be able to safely be pregnant.
The psychologist who did like a shortened test on me actually recommended against going further and also getting diagnosed by a psychiatrist if I don’t want any official support. Just not worth a lifetime of discrimination within the medical system. I’m noticing it happening with my ADHD diagnosis. That one’s worth the discrimination though, since the treatment is a life saver (potentially literally).
