It’s not for me either, but i guess not being strung along by the main story line and instead being able to just go anywhere and do whatever is appealing to people who just want to immerse themselves in the games world.

I’d say it depends on whether or not the voice actor whose voice the AI is imitating has agreed and is fairly compensated.
I’m imagining a game, where instead of predefined dialog choices, you talk into your microphone and the game’s AI generates the NPCs answer.

apart from all the adblocking and privacy stuff, gesturify is one of my favourites. i got used to mouse gestures back when opera was still good and happily kept using them in vivaldi. if it wasn’t for this addon, i probably wouldn’t have been able to switch, when google enforced their manifest v3 bullshit.
streaming enhanced is another great one. it automatically skips intro and outro of shows, so you don’t have to fumble around with whatever remote you use. It also shows imdb ratings, so it’s easier to avoid stinkers, that the services are trying to push.
finally, i’d like to mention comet. i know we hate Reddit here, but usually reddit comments are still better than youtube comments.

I agree, but to afford the stuff we also need to increase wages to a level where they match the increased cost of living. Otherwise, the only people able to afford the assets, that the rich will be forced to sell are slightly less rich fucks, because regular folks still have to spend all their income on food and stuff like that.

Reviewers rave about a game, I pick it up and play it, and they’re raving about a new one before I’ve finished that last one.
That’s why i only wishlist games that i’m interested in. by the time i get around to them, there’s usually a sale and/or price drop. Some games have been on my wishlist for years, while I’m working through my backlog, waiting for their price to drop even further.

And 90% of law makers are like “Good. This whole democracy thing just gets in the way of us lining our pockets.”

If instead you would be paid for the making of the music regardless of how many copies of a digital file you sold by a better system that’s not based on private property
And how would that system decide how much you get paid and where would the money for that payment come from? How do you make sure a carefully crafted piece of music, that brings happiness to millions of people gets paid fairly compared to someone just putting together a song in 5 minutes by pressing random notes on the keyboard?

Only an actual Left counter, with an actual Left program for transforming society can stop this.
Unfortunately they can’t, because that would financially hurt the millionaires and billionaires that own the media, so they’ll do everything they can to discriminate any left party with actual chances to get some influence and make sure everyone thinks they are bad.
I get that young people are angry at german politics (and rightfully so). But at least we get to live in a mostly democratic, free country, where you can express that anger and not governed by a power hungry dictator that will have you prisoned and/or killed for criticising them. That alone seems worth defending for me.
