Welcome to Raccoon City

Welcome to Raccoon City

I knew this was a clickbait when it’s gizmodo, but oof
The mods in the Wired story explain how they detect AI content, and unfortunately their methods boil down to “It’s vibes.”

I don’t think it’s as much of confidence as it is fear. CCP is not really known for its transparency.
This guy got a public execution, average citizens might just disappear.

Because capitalists don’t like regulations? When you let corporations become the sole driver of the economy, some of them get really big, so big they can easily buy out the people who are supposed to regulate the market.
Why do you think all companies are bending the knee and ass kissing trump? Because you get what you want when you bribe him enough.
Also isn’t lobbying legal in the US? It’s almost like the country was made by capitalists assholes to make it easy to subvert regulations.

What has that got to do with anything he said?
Also Obama got the prize despite war crimes and illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, so I don’t know what bs narrative you’re trying to present.
Fuck Putin and his war cronies tho. Make his life a suffering.

Day #82924 of 2A folks claiming to defend anything

Why would Americans be scared of this? Seems like a problem with just the USA and it’s merely a part of whole American population of the continent.

Yes, Servo, but in very early stages.
Motherfucker, the black people were segregated until the 70s and early 80s. Get that propaganda “stamping down of human rights in the west” bullshit outta here.
Grab a book and see how the west has been at the forefront of “stamping down of human rights” throughout most of recent history.
Yea. These people always fantasize about personal websites. There are still a lot of those outside of the mainstream websites.
I would rather a guess that it’s way more than the early days of the internet, but it seems like the most amount of effort these people can put is to whine about the good ol’ days.
Reminds me of MAGA folks.

It was already bad enough when people copied code from interwebs without understanding anything about it.
But now these companies are pushing tools that have permissions over users whole drive and users are using it like they’ve got a skill up than the rest.
This is being dumb with less steps to ruin your code, or in some case, the whole system.
Most of the claims against that are tweets by police. And the police have never been caught lying, right?
“Mostly false” should be turned into “insufficient evidence” because there doesn’t seem to be convincing evidence on both arguments.

Because US has laws to defend its mass murderers? They are way too comfortable defending killing of brown people, if you haven’t noticed last few decades.

If not bad, why let war crimes go unpunished?
Yankistani dumbass.
Boobs are not part of genitalia. One of the above is way more embarrassing than the other.

Anyone can edit Wikipedia is a false belief. There are moderators who monitor popular posts from being edited. These moderators are usually from PR management companies who spend a lot of time editing pages to appear legit and also sell their services for a fee.
So, NO, anyone cannot edit it or even add factual data without the approval of a “moderator” who may be awfully biased at not letting bad comments about their clients publicized.
The founder himself is not hiding his bias. It’s always been used as political and commercial PR by politicians and companies but with a cover of being an “Encyclopedia”. Just like how many NGOs are fronts for government intelligence agencies.
If you want to prove me wrong, go ahead and give it a try and let’s see how long that “edit” lasts.

Like they did in China?

Was it before or after he got his Nobel peace price for war crimes?
Back then it was just buttons and they usually did what it said on the manual, but now devices have to connect to the internet and have unlimited privileges Then you have to deal with unintuitive UI, agree to multiple ToS and EULA, agree to give them access to your data, just to initialize.
Most people have no idea how to do that.
