I read somewhere this is actually good for your mental health, to take a minute each day and think of something positive that happened. I try to do that with my family when we sit down for dinner. We do “good things” where everyone takes turns saying something good that happened that day. We started it when our kids were like 2 or 3 and they’ve looked forward to it for years even now that they’re bigger.
