There’s been no genocide in China

Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I was talking to a tankie. Carry on.

proceeded to link to a NATOpedia page that fails to list a whole bunch of European/US genocides and even then is short, oh, about 96% of countries on earth.

    Natopedia is a hilarious take

I’m well aware it was not an exhaustive list.

To say that every country has been founded via genocide is to imply this is just a normal, unavoidable thing, which is genocide apologia

It’s not. I never said that.

I wish westerners would stop whitewashing their Nazi ass societies like smearing the rest of us is a good alternative to doing something about the legacy of violence you were raised by.

    Wow, racist much?

I was talking about the Japanese in Korea, actually

You started this saying that most countries had been FOUNDED on genocides. Stop twisting yourself up in knots to insist that it’s very normal that a nation has had an uninterrupted body of government after they either completely or partially eradicated the native population.

I clarified in another comment I meant had done genocide, not founded on it. And yes, most. Not every.

it’s very normal that a nation has had an uninterrupted body of government after they either completely or partially eradicated the native population

I’m not saying it’s good. Quite the opposite in fact. I want People to just understand it’s not some united states special. However, it is much more more typical than people want to think it is

I never referred to it as unavoidable. That was you making things up. It is avoidable, as long as we work together to stop it

No, you just claimed it had almost never been avoided.

Anyway, this is pointless. You keep flip flopping from one argument to a different one in the space of two comments and back again all in the service of normalizing genocides of mostly European origin then going “oh guis I’m just spreading awareness that it’s not just the US” like that’s profound. Counting genocides perpetrated against a population as proof of genocide being common by almost every population is just the intellectual bankruptcy cherry on top.
