English is not my main language so this was a significant and funny “A-ha!” moment for me.

    When literally every other language said “ananas”, English panicked and mentally combined the concept of a pinecone and a freakin’ apple

      Meanwhile in Spanish we got rid of the apple part and simply call them “Piñas”.
