Donald Trump gave sizable holiday gifts to four White House aides, according to new financial disclosures released by the administration.
The gifts of $45,000 each to executive assistant Natalie Harp, communications adviser Margo Martin, and deputy director of Oval Office operations Chamberlain Harris as well as a $20,000 gift for director of Oval Office operations Walt Nauta were noted in the staffers’ annual financial disclosure forms that were published by the administration last week. Harp, Martin and Harris make $150,000 annually and Nauta is paid $175,000 a year, according to the White House’s salary disclosure report to Congress.
A White House official, who was not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Trump “has a longstanding practice of giving Christmas gifts to people in his orbit, including at times employees and aides, both in government and in his time in the private sector.”

You think the lack of presidential accountability started with… Bill Clinton?
Iran-Contra and Watergate would like a word.
Watergate made Richard Nixon resign…
From that (there’s literally a memo about it in Nixons library) came Faux News.
Bill Clinton was the rise of neoliberalism. And a 35 year detour it took the democratic party down the same road Republicans took.
Before Slick Willy, Dems tried to hold politicians responsible.
So:
I stand by it, even the autocorrect typos.
I don’t think it’s a unique view that neoliberals act like Republicans and had a death grip on the party from 91-25.
We can’t waste this opportunity now that they don’t
You mean like …gestures wildly at congress and scotus…?
If you put your coins, keys, and phone in the same pocket, your the keys are gonna scratch the phone and the coins aren’t gonna do shit to stop it.
Same things happening here. They’re all in the same pocket. That’s your problem, right there.
