I’ve heard a “news” segment discussing the popularity of ready made meals from the grocery store, but that does reflect reality or is it mere fiction? If it were the case: is it because they don’t know how to cook at all? Is it due to lack of time left for meal preparation after work or due to cost of living so purchasing those is cheaper?

I have relied on these the past year since rescuing a younger dog. After work and getting our exercise in, I simply just don’t have the energy to cook. I’m lucky enough to have a high end grocery store near me and the prepackaged meals are reasonably priced.
