This is what I’ve been trying to convince my dad. He’s Mormon and the modern Evangelical movement behind this fucjed up government couldn’t hate Mormons more. I think because they are so similar they actually end up hating them more than people like atheists, but they are willing to work together to get rid of the other hated people before they turn on each other
Evangelicals believe in the trinity (Jesus being god) whereas Mormons believe Jesus was a prophet. In terms of religious doctrine Mormons and Evangelicals are planets apart.
As a former Mormon you are wrong but arguing about what some Christians believe and others don’t is like the stupidest and most pointless type of conversation ever. My point was that they despise each other and you’re kind of proving it
Yep, as someone raised without religion they pretty all look like the same stupid shit. The differences in practice have a lot more to do with the culture of the area than the text of their books.

Only from the inside. Compared to even other abrahamic religions evangelical Christians and Mormons are very similar.
