There’s just too many things I’d want to learn, but I probably can’t do everything at once. And I also don’t know where to start when it comes to basically any topic.

Courses could absolutely work, but they tend to be paid, so that’s a problem.

How do you approach learning new material, especially if you only know a goal rather than a full/partial path?

    Anki is a great tool. It’s a flashcard program that handles presenting you the cards; pre-made decks are available for a ton of subjects and you can make your own.

    If you want to pause learning, you stop adding new cards and in a few days/weeks, your reviews in that deck go down to single digits. you just take a few minutes a day to stay at your level and you don’t completely lose ground.
