Firing at a moving vehicle, in a Walmart parking lot, for a shoplifting call, is absolutely ridiculous.
If firearms are actually needed, get SWAT. And that doesn’t even get into why officers aren’t required to carry insurance like doctors. Insurance companies would drop these dipshits and make them unemployable anywhere in the country immediately.
And none of that even gets into the potential for race being a factor, as it so very often is when it comes to police shooting people.
Also of note, no arrests have been made. So despite this supposedly being for shoplifting, the unharmed mother wasn’t arrested for shoplifting? Why would that be unless there was no shoplifting?
