I died laughing at this trailer.
“No one believed me when I said the newest Belmont would be a giiiiiiiiiirrrrrl.”
Was this written by a twelve year old? I’m fucking dying. This is clearly an adult woman. To have that as an actual line in the game, let alone the trailer itself. It even trails on the word girl like they’re going to follow up with “ewww cooties!” I’m fucking dead.
EDIT: Especially because most Castlevania fans are in their fucking forties and fifties (I’m glaring at you Adi Shankar)! Oh yeah let’s call this adult woman a girl because this game is totally aimed at *checks notes… the 40+ demographic.
It sounded like a villain saying that, having villains behave in a disrespectful manner seems okay to me?
That is a little lame.

Its kind of ridiculous but I think you are just missing some context. In the Castlevania games the castle is a representation of Dracula who is resurrected every 100 years. The castle does not exist between resurrection events and everyone in the castle is trapped until it re manifests. So there is no contact with the outside until the castle re manifests and the Belmonts are always there to stop it when it does.
So inside that context you have someone inside the castle predicting the next Belmont they will fight will be woman (a girrrrlllllll lol)
Yea no, still kind of a stupid line.
Seems like they actually listened to some feedback from the first time this was shown, it looks noticeably darker and less glowy. This looks fantastic. I really liked Bloodstained but it’s nice to have actual Castlevania back after they slept on the franchise for so long.
I didn’t care for the art style of Bloodstained
The original Castlevania is one of my top 5 all-time.
Needless to say, I am very excited for a new title in the series.
Tf does xbox on pc mean? Pc? Does that just mean it’ll be on pc? Im tired of digging holes grandpa.
I think it means its a title that supports buying on one platform but being able to play on either?
That’s what they’re calling games that are being released on both XBOX and PC now that they’re going back to console exclusives. if it doesn’t say that, it’s console only.
That’s just the Windows gaming storefront. It’ll also be out on Steam in any case.
