Every industry is full of non-technical hills that people plant their flag on. What is yours?

Safety. I do not understand people who take shortcuts at the risk of personal injury. Sure it might take you a few minutes learning proper way to do something. Once you have learned and put into practice everyday it takes little to no extra time. Saftey, can save yourself and others a great amount of pain and money.
Taking the time to be safe is extra effort. Besides, the risk of something bad happening is small, and if it’s not, it won’t happen to me anyway.
Also productivity bonuses incentivize being unsafe. Safe time by being unsafe. And worse- when management (supervisors) don’t see the risks or safety holes.
Obviously, I don’t approve of being unsafe.
