Making the assumption that you are getting your news somewhere else, not just burying your head in the sand, what are some sources that you, or anyone else who takes this approach, using to stay informed?

It makes more sense from the Gnostic mythological perspective. When you frame the Old Testament God as a Trump-type character who ignorantly claims to be all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful, and the only God, because he really doesn’t know any better, then the behavior you see in the Old Testament kind of tracks.

I want to switch to void so bad. It’s just that my machine is a laptop that I carry around with me all the time. I don’t feel safe doing that without encrypting it, and all I’ve gotten out of attempting to manually configure LUKS is hours of wasted time.

I thought I’d finally found the perfect balance between minimal tinkering and the features I want with Noctalia Shell. Then I switched to a systemd-free distro and it doesn’t work any more. Back to .config I go.

I need something to engage my hands and eyes. If I want to just sit and listen to music, or an audiobook, or podcast I usually play Tetris. It’s a really low engagement task that keeps me from zoning out. Starting to get tired it though so I’m open to recommendations for similar games.

Yeah. Came out of nowhere. I usually ignore spam, but any opportunity to voice my contempt for Israeli/American policy and leadership is something I’m going to jump on.

Several weeks ago, I had some weird AI chatbot text me asking my opinion on Israel, then trying to convince me that the genocide in Gaza isn’t actually a genocide.

That they take themselves WAY too seriously and they’re trying to get whoever’s listening to think that way as well.

Probably 1.5 - 2 bottles of the chromatech pink. The other two pinkish ones are humectants that would be added to the arterial fluid if the decedent is desiccated. The regal is a premix of humectant and arterial fluid, and the blue one is a topical disinfectant. It can be used on surfaces as well.

Also, during COVID, we would put dispray on a small towel and place that over a decedent’s face in case they exhaled while we were moving them, as COVID patients were still contagious for several hours after death.

edit: Rephrasing. It wasn’t to prevent them from exhaling, it was so that any microbes that they exhaled would be killed by it.

Anti-Flag was one of my favorite bands ever. I am so pissed off at Justin Sane for taking that music away from me, and from all of us. Especially now, when that kind of message is so necessary.
