As an American getting these responses I have people starting to say I’m an extremist.

I know I’m on ml but I signed up thinking it was just internet privacy enthusiasts.

I just don’t want to live under an Authoritarian regime. I am literally exactly who ICE would hunt after. I don’t want to lose my freedoms. I want more worker rights. I want people to be able to make adult choices about their own lives. I want the rich to actually pay taxes. I don’t want Israel to have influence on our government. I just get called a communist lol what drives me the most mad is when they think I’m just randomly listening to people online and seeing biased shit. I stopped watching TV when I was 13. I got rid of all social media recently and never was on much anyways. These people only get information with algorithms curated for them. I feel like I’m watching everybody around me get brainwashed. And the thing is most people agree these things are issues. They just think they can’t do anything about it. People have been pacified by social media. At least that’s what I’m seeing.

We are literally supposed to be a country that was founded by revolution. Our Constitution was supposed to give us rights to fight back and prevent another authortian government. We have the right to protest but people don’t do it enough. I just want to scream to these people that fighting back IS AMERICAN. Our country has never been perfect. Not at all. But it was supposed to be designed in a way we could improve upon what was originally laid down. These people have given up.

No that hasn’t changed lol Artists making cohesive albums has changed though. I don’t mind a compilation project but I never hear any newer artists doing concept albums other than Tyler the Creator.

Back in the day they were known for making Call of Duty montages full of their sniper trick shots. Over time they changed and became less about CoD and gaming. They eventually basically became one of those influencer houses or whatever.

I believe I have the same GPU but the Ti version (I might be mistaken but it’s definitely 30xx ti) and I couldn’t get it to work on mint smoothly myself. Put my 7600 back in. Idk if it’s the distro or not. Followed instructions online and nothing worked. Maybe I was simply missing something simple but whatever the fix is isn’t intuitive for me.

Just to note: that I’ve only been using Linux for about a year now and have been learning as I go. I’m not a CS student or anything. Just a dude without a diploma working a blue collar job.

Power is indeed the last thing to go but the peekaboo style requires a lot of explosiveness and athleticism. It’s hard to keep that up with old age. I do think he could’ve done better but not as much as a lot of people think. There were definitely some secret clauses or something.

It’s a little different but there’s an artist who got caught with a teenager. Sucks cuz I loved his music but when other people find out I’ve been to their shows I usually bring that part up. Most people who listen to him don’t even know about it until I tell them. He just wasn’t famous enough for it to pop in everyone’s algorithm. People rely on tiktok, reels and shorts for most of their information. If it doesn’t trend for them then they don’t know about it. They also form opinions based off of their algorithm.

It’s not everyone but a concerning amount.
