  • No. Americans have always called themselves leaders of the free world, leaders of democracy, the land of the free, and until about a year ago, they were, in principle, a free nation.

Now they are not. Now calling them free, is a lie. You dont get to call them freedom units anymore. If you want that back, you’ll need to get your freedom back. I will always let anyone i see that uses that term know they are no longer free, as long as they aren’t.

The loss of their freedom, and their choice to very little about it so far, will mean lots of pain and destruction for many people while their leader wages war on peiple starves them of power etc… all of his actions are blood on their hands. Unless they start doing everything in their power to prevent it.

  • No, because if the information is public domain, then anyone can freely copy and redistribute it. Nobody could incent anything, because as soon as you do, its public, and anyone can copy it. Nobody could create unique software, because anyone could copy it.

If an artist or creator has a unique original idea, then in your system, it is automatically public, and free for anyone to copy and redistribute.

Nobody will give a shit who the original is, if they can get the exact same thing for cheap or for free.

In the 90s, everyone knew who the original artists for music was. They still all downloaded it for free, because they could, and it was not even legal.

So, i’m afraid you’re living in a fantasy world with this idea.

Intellectual property is important. But, I think it is too highly enforced in some cases and not enough in others. For example, I believe it should be the law that anyone could make an operating system fully compatible with windows, and that windows should be force to provide all information to allow that, as otherwise they have an unjust monopoly.

There are other cases like that, like, I believe every nation should make it mandatory that all social media algorithms are publicly declared, able to be copied, and able to be tested to make sure the declared algorithm is correct. This way they cant be biased to brainwash people.

But your idea goes too far, as it completely.destroys anybody’s ability to make profit off ideas.

The result will be that people keep ideas to themselves.

  • It is corrupt, the government is corrupt, and the people aren’t willing to do anything about it. Not mass protests, not dropping the social media they control, or boycotting the companies that give them power.

    So, it won’t change.

The administration is on a war rampage also, which means the only way the people will be free, since they do nothing, is if war comes to America, and the regime is taken out by force.

This of course would be ww3, and the casualties of such a war would be far greater than ww2. Many more civilian casualties.

And of course poverty in america. Their government will gove themselves money for luxuries first, their armies second, and their people can have whatever crumbs are left over.

  • I personally dont think this is far fetched. There seems to have been a cover up about his death. The alleged shooter was maga. Kirk was going against Israel, and could have been a significant problem and priority target for israel, but for anyone else, he was just a racist POS, and very low significance, if someone wished to assassinate with goals of slowing maga down.

However, he was probably quite relevant for young people, so I could see it going either way, but I dont find the theory Israel was responsible is too much of a stretch, and it appears powerful people didnt want the public to learn too much about it.
