You could also say that it chooses what will be the next word it will say to you. It has a few words to choose from, which it has selected in relation to the previously spoken words, your question and previous interactions (the context). The probability you’re talking about (a number) could also be seen as it’s preference among those words. I’m not sure the probability vocabulary/analogy is necessarily the best one. The best might be to not employ any analogy at all, but then you have to dig deeper into the subject to form yourself an informed opinion. This series of videos explains it better than I do : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aircAruvnKk&list=PLZHQObOWTQDNU6R1_67000Dx_ZCJB-3pi
I mean, there is always someone on your right as there is on your left, so depending on how you measure political “distance” you can always consider yourself in the center ^^
I agree wholeheartedly with you, but maybe this was exactly their point ? I hope so because, otherwise, it’s a pretty narrow sighted argument… Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt anyway ^^

No but you can say “The AI told me to detain them” and not take any responsibility. “I was just answering orders” is sadly too common of an excuse in doing the worst possible things…
Aren’t your hands extremely dry from all the washing ?

In the USA. Us Europeans are happily treading toward carbon neutrality, even more since the cheetos’ fun war with Iran.

I don’t have any except, maybe, promoting a less biased, more balanced view on any subject. Be it scientific, technological or political. I sometimes like playing the devils advocate when I think it could feed curiosity and critical thinking.

Fake might have been a poor choice of word. I just found it extremely biased and it had very few articles when this one was published. On their footers it reads “FuelArc News is your unbiased source for American automotive news.” When an unbiased view is waived around, I don’t consider it a very good sign toward factuality.

Fair, but you are wrong about me. Explained it in an other answer higher in the comments.

I’m just pointing to the fishiness of the source. I am in no way a Tesla fan. I think the individual electric car is a bad solution to air pollution and global warming. Got a bit more into detail higher up in the comments.

Yes. I’ve answered that higher in the comments.

I live in France and am glad autonomous vehicles are not allowed here. I wish Americans where as protected from private company abuse as we are here. But I stand by the fact that the source does not look trustworthy.
Let’s start by fining them ^^
