I agree, it’s terrifying. I interpret it as our collective chickens coming home to roost after almost 100 years of celebrating victory over the Nazis without doing the work to dismantle the thought patterns they exploited.
Problem is that when you go back to the.“traditional” usa for example, some parts of europe were already woke at that point. Theres no “traditional” france you can go back to without beong completely ridiculous if the whole traditional thing wasnt ridiculous enough already.
