    I made my son a Star wars landspeeder bed, and literally the only ‘design’ I had was a small hot wheels version that I used to base things off of. Put it together myself with construction grade wood from the hardware store, and a router I bought off marketplace, total cost in materials was under $300. I don’t really have any experience with wood working, although I assisted my dad with building houses and finishing basements with my dad.

    The front is a functioning storage area with a pneumatic lid.

    I was pretty happy with how it turned out.
