Her reputation preceded her. As Bourne approached the lectern for public comment — shouting about “healthy, whole women!” — scores of district-area teachers got up from their seats and walked out of the meeting.

Bourne went ballistic.

“Ask those teachers to stop interrupting my comment!” she shouted at the meeting chair. “I want my time back! I want my time back!”

I’m just a little weirded out by trans in general. It’s weird to me.

You need to get the fuck over yourself then.

You’re taking it very personally. I’m sorry if something that weirds me out offends you so much. It looks like you only read the first part of what I said and stopped, removing the whole context.

I read the rest. It’s the same sort of logic as “Love the sinner, hate the sin” shit. If it makes you uncomfortable, you really need to work on it. Interact with trans folks, get to know some. I’m not saying you need to want to date them or something, but it just making you “uncomfortable” isn’t good and something you need to work on.

Why is that anyone elses problem? You should go see a professional about that issue.

Broadcasting your intrusive/offensive thoughts to strangers is actual behaviour that legitimately weirds people out.

I didn’t say it was anyone else’s problem. Maybe you should have finished reading my comment.
