There’s a difference between “going out” in sleet, and survival in sleet. Granted, sleet is still not as bad as a 1 degree / 34 degree rain downpour, but I wouldn’t want to be sleeping outdoors in a month of record breaking sleet either.
Well yeah, having to stay outside in any temperature outside of comfortable for extended periods can be a problem. I wouldn’t want to be sleeping outside in record breaking heatwaves either.
Rain when it’s just barely above freezing is terrible. Although I don’t consider anything above freezing “cold”. That’s shorts weather come April.
Having to go out in sleet can be awful yeah, I still like it though.
