    I had to research this the first time I saw it.

    The person writing the messages told an LLM to act like someone and has a “romantic relationship” with it/the idea of the person in their head. They are asking the real person to leave their partner because they’re jealous, and the LLM promised they would.

    Real stable-brain stuff. (Read: AI psychosis)

      One of the reasons AI psychosis is almost certainly not getting its own diagnosis is that the statistics show that the people most “at risk” for it are almost always diagnosable for other disorders.

      Or to put it another way, just because the schizophrenic took acid doesn’t mean all their delusions are symptoms of addiction to a non addictive drug.
