Two years out from the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Los Angeles officials say security requirements could displace hundreds of unhoused people living around competition venues during the summer of 2028. But there’s no plan for how those people will be relocated, where they’ll go, or who will pay for it.

It’s solid NPR disinfo how they ask this question in the headline like it’s some mystery… then the answer is clearly NO in the first paragraph.

    The only time the US thinks about homeless people is when they think about how to make them go somewhere else. Why would anyone even insinuate that there might be a plan? As far as anyone is concerned, the fact that they’ll be displaced is the plan, and it’s a great bonus from the Olympics on top of the tourism.
