So yes you can be fired even for protected class things. New manager comes in fires you due to skin color but you can’t prove it. Quick pedantic note if I may, right to work and at will employment are two separate things, both shitty.
At will - company can fire you for nearly any reason without notice.
Right to work - workers cannot be forced to join a labor union as a condition of their employment. This is used to weaken labor unions.
They do intersect as having a union can help prevent shitty firings.
