    You’re right, a gutted FDA couldn’t make mistakes. It’s probably a vast conspiracy that involves the very scientists racing to figure out the source of this also being complicit in covering it up.

      Both a gutted FDA and a large company paying the Trump administration a bribe for preferential treatment are pretty equal in likelihood.

      But considering this company has already paid a bribe to the Trump administration to get rid of food tracing rules, the conspiracy is probably more likely.

      Without an independent lab verifying the samples, you should take the FDA’s retraction with a pitcher of salt.
