      I was gonna say, of all the big chains in America, Costco at least seems to try and be half decent to its customers and staff

        What really drives it home for me is the nametags. They say “employee since (year)” and I’ve seen a ff of people who have been there for 15-20 years. Meanwhile, find me anyone who has worked at McDonald’s for more than one year and hasn’t given up on life.

          Canadian Costco employee here…

          One thing that helps are the 3k bonus cheques you get every 6 months once you pass the 12,000 hours worked mark.
