    Voyager share button first downloads the video and then opens the share menu. This video takes a long time to download

      Can I ask where in the world you are? Just curious to do some speed tests towards your country

        Estonia. 150 Mbps connection and it usually reaches the cap pretty reliably. Download speeds are usually a bit over 17 MB/s

          Surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be, this is on a 250/100 connection

          Unfortunately content on Lemmy is very hit or miss, I actually upgraded the connection from 50mbps upload because the first like 1-2 hours that the content is uploaded it gets absolutely hammered then it slowly drops off till after 12 hours it’s just a slow trickle

          And even within that first 1-2 hours, if you click play you might get a full speed upload but then suddenly 6 people might all click play at once and saturate the link

          But given that I’m uploading terabytes and it’s not costing my server admins any cash I think it’s ok and I’d rather not sign up to cloudflare

          If bunny cdn offers a basic free tier then maybe
